NativeEnglish is a new family-run company formed by Mr Jamie Byrne who is a TEFL licensed English teacher and has many years of experience teaching English both in classroom and online environments in Slovakia and Czechia.

Mr Jamie Ian Byrne - School Director
Hello, my name is Jamie Byrne and I am highly experienced EFL English teacher teaching English to students from all walks of life both online or onsite.
I originally come from Edinburgh in the United Kingdom and currently live in Skalka nad Váhom (near Trenčín) with my family.
In addition to my experience, I also hold a TQUK level 5 TEFL certificate to teach English abroad.
I have previously lived in different locations in the UK in intervals for about 25 years and I have a working background in business, sales, IT and aviation.
Teaching is one my biggest passions which lead me to establish this family-run company.
Students and their needs are everything and my biggest goal is to give them the best value and also try my hardest to make the lessons enjoyable, fun and interesting.
For me, of course grades are important but the English language is much more than that, it's way of life.
Mr Austin Obidike - English Teacher
Hello, I'm Austin Obidike, an experienced EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teacher with over 4 years of expertise in English language education. Originally from Nigeria, I currently reside in Slovakia.
I've volunteered as an English teacher with NGOs in Ghana, such as Becky's Foundation and Arms around the Child. Additionally, I had the privilege to be involved in community development and coordinate projects. During that time, I met my wife, who is Slovak, while we were both volunteers.
My passion for language learning and teaching has been the driving force behind my career, aiming to create engaging and effective lessons beneficial to diverse learners. I bring a dynamic perspective to my teaching, ensuring everyone feels included.
I enjoy making learning both enjoyable and supportive while exploring new and creative ways of teaching.
